How quickly is my online order processed?

We begin to process and handmake your order the moment it is received. Please allow up to 7 business days to create Signature Scent products, and up to 15 business days for customized fragrance orders (excluding holidays). You will receive an email confirmation when your order was received and another email once it has shipped.


Do you ship worldwide?

Currently we offer $7 flat-rate ground shipping on all orders within the continental United States via UPS. Ground shipping typically takes 2-7 days, but please keep in mind there may be delays due to circumstances beyond our control. We’re looking into shipping to Canada soon, so stay tuned!


Can I send an order as a gift?

Absolutely! At checkout please indicate if the order is a gift and if you’d like us to include a complimentary, personalized gift message. You can choose to have your order shipped to you or directly to the gift recipient at no additional charge.


My package arrived damaged/items were missing. Now what?

If your order is damaged, incomplete, incorrect, please contact us here immediately.


Can I return my order?

Due to sanitary reasons, all sales are final. You can read our full return policy here.


How long will my products last after I opened them?

We recommend that you use your Anderson + Joy products within 12 months of opening.


Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?

Yes. We are certified by PETA as a vegan and cruelty-free company. Our handmade products are vegan and never tested on animals. We exclusively use ingredients in our products that are vegan cruelty-free and not tested on animals.


Where are your products made?

All of our products are handmade in Connecticut in our state-licensed cosmetic lab. You can view our CT Dept. of Consumer Protection license here.


What’s the best way to store my products?

Due to the butter and/or oil content of our Body Moisturizers, Whipped Body Butters, After-Sun Salves, Body Oils, and Beard Oils we suggest storing those products in a cool, dry place away from moisture, direct sunlight, and excessive heat (below 75 degrees Fahrenheit/ 24 degrees Celsius). Our Exfoliating Body Polishes and Body Cleansers can be stored safely in your bathroom and shower.

When does my Joyful Moments Subscription Box ship?

Your seasonal subscription boxes ship four times per year - March, June, September, and December.


When is my card charged for my Joyful Moments Subscription?

Your card will be charged the day you enroll in the subscription service. Your payment method on file will then be automatically charged at the beginning of each quarter:

  • January 1 (Q1)

  • April 1 (Q2)

  • July (Q3)

  • October (Q4)


How can I update my billing and shipping information for my Joyful Moments Subscription Box?

Life happens and things change! Please contact us here to request an update to your shipping and/or billing address.


Can I get a refund for my Joyful Moments Subscription Box?

Once your payment for the quarterly subscription billing cycle has been charged, a box has been allocated for shipping and we can no longer issue a refund on that box. Subscription boxes are allocated for shipping the first day of each quarter (Jan 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1).


How do I cancel my Joyful Moments Subscription?

We’re sorry to see you go, but if you need to cancel your subscription for any reason, simply contact us here and we will cancel your quarterly subscription.

Please note - you must request cancellation before the next billing cycle so your plan will not auto-renew. For example, if you do not wish to receive the Spring Joyful Moments Box, you must cancel before the Jan 1 billing date. Contact us if you have any questions regarding subscription box billing cycles and/or cancellations.
